Localactivist, Bettejo Indelicato, is living in the West Bank for 3 months with the International
Women's Peace Service.
IWPS
is an international team of women based in Haris (a village in the Salfit Governorate of the West Bank) who provide international
accompaniment to Palestinian civilians, document and nonviolently intervene in human rights abuses, and support acts of nonviolent
resistance to end the brutal and illegal military Occupation and oppose the Apartheid Wall. Bettejo traveled to Palestine in early
January. While there she is sending regular updates about life under Occupation in the West Bank and she will offer presentations
when she returns in April.
Bettejo also lived in Baghdad for 5 months during the US led war against Iraq.
